Alan Budge grew up with the Beatles, and grew his hair to Led Zeppelin. He has worked in everything from would-be smart London restaurants to ground-breaking charitable organisations. He now divides his time between writing, walking, and discussing Dylan lyrics with a close-knit group of like-minded lunatics.

Alan Budge has a long-standing interest in spirituality, and has worked for a number of faith-based organisations. Having recovered from the resultant ‘religious addiction’ – and some other compulsions besides – he has most recently worked in community empowerment.

Alan Budge is the author of the acclaimed memoir ‘For God’s Sake.’ In the late 1980s he travelled extensively in Tibet and China. He now lives in the Peak District, and divides his time between writing, walking, and pondering the mysteries of the universe.
